Electric chargecooler pump - Lotus Esprit (4 cylinder, Lotus 910 engine)

The pump does not have a drive shaft or seals as the impeller is magnetically driven by the motor in a separate compartment. For this reason the pump is highly reliable and has a service life of 100k+ miles.

This means you can take advantage of the extra HP from better cooling and not  have to worry about the impeller pump packing in again.

This same pump is used by Mercedes in several cooling and circulation applications and also as a circulation pump on the V8 Esprit, for the heater system. The kit provides the pump and necessary wiring and connectors to install the electric pump. While not strictly necessary, it is advised that the stock chargecooler pump have the old impeller and drive gear removed when installing the new pump. Installing the pump requires attaching the 2 coolant hosed from the old chargecooler pump and connecting the 12v line to the vacuum pump circuit.
